Peg Woodworking is a Brooklyn-based and women-led furniture practice. After working with Peg Woodworking for almost four years, we’ve developed an identity that organically evolved — through small and large projects that eventually came together into a rebrand.

The studio’s distinct furniture is inspired by the clean lines and geometry of Scandinavian and Shaker design. Honing in on the essence of Peg Woodworking, the logo redesign incorporates the studio’s signature coopered edges and angular shapes.

Built upon this visual language is a shape system for the studio’s toolkit of materials—representing woods, cords, patterns, stones, and metals. With each Peg Woodworking piece being highly customizable, using material swatches together visualize the infinite combinations possible for each furniture piece.
